Today we were notified that teachers will not be striking this Wednesday. Instead, there will be paid union meetings in the afternoon.
The Birkdale Board of Trustees have decided to keep school open, with non-union members and leadership supervising.
This will affect our school colour run scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. We will move the run to Thursday afternoon (1st June) instead, with the save day remaining the following week on Wednesday.
If you would like to pick your children up early on Wednesday, 12:30pm would be the best time. Please sign out at the office. Otherwise, school will finish at 3pm as usual.
