Update: Road works on Birkdale

Road work on Birkdale is planned to continue for the next 6 weeks. Please continue to be patient and kind to each other and the people who are working to make our roads safer for our students. The road work is being completed to reduce speeds around the school and help our student cross the road safer. 

I understand it must be frustrating to find parking, especially on pick up. Please allow for extra time and only pick up and drop off in our designated areas. Don’t use the driveway in front of the school. 

Starting from today for the next 6 weeks:

1. The sidewalk around the Birkdale walking gate into school and around the corner is closed.
2. If you are walking up or down Birkdale from school, you will need to go out the side gate by the playground and staffroom and then out the driveway.
3. We will be closing the car park on Birkdale, from 8:15-9am and 3-3:15pm, so it is safe for students to enter and exit the driveway.
4. The temporary crossing will be past our driveway. This is where all students need to cross the road.
